The FSS Payment Gateway Services have evolved over a period of the past 10 years. This evolution has been at the behest of requirements, mandates and compliance from the Regulator and the evolving business requirements emanating from the merchant and banking community. The result has been a state of the art UI for the convenience and comfort of all operating entities utilizing the Payment Gateway.
The interfaces have been developed keeping in mind the operating functionalities coupled with the respective functional teams with the bank and merchant organisation structures. Utilising their respective UIs will ensure a streamlined and well managed business management program.
The bank UI is managed by the Bank Administrator who can configure bank as well as Merchant and Merchant users. The solution offers hierarchy levels in the administration and operations management by the respective users of the UI.
Unified Plug-in
Merchants utilise the services of professional to design, develop and implement their web site, hosting solutions and overall business management processes. Basis business strategy, current requirements and finally the go to market strategy, merchants adopt technology platforms for their websites. Given the vagaries of the web hosting solution of the merchant website, it is a common place issue for merchants to adopt the least costly and convenient solution development options. All these dependencies may present PG integration related challenges.
FSS has developed a proven merchant integration solution using the concept of a Universal Plugin. This integration approach eliminates the concerns that are typical to varied merchant platforms and integrates with equal ease with all platforms, be they in PHP, PERL, Windows, Linux, ASP, JSP, .net etc.
The merchant integration plug-in is in compliance with PCI DSS standards and has been validated and tested by 3rd party Risk Auditors. A boon for all merchants as well as Acquiring Banks.
Security
The FSS' Payment Gateway Merchant plug-in developed on the basis of the latest PCI DSS specs sends transaction data in an encrypted format to the FSS Payment Gateway application. This approach ensures the security of the financial data transfer initiated by customer to the Bank's Payment Gateway. Best in class data encryption standards are deployed to encrypt the sensitive data transmitted through the Internet. The solution has been implemented on a secure framework using OWASP guidelines to mitigate the risks associated with internet based transactions

FSS' Payment Gateway has been designed keeping in mind contemporary business orientation involving NPCI, IMPS, Rupay card acceptance,credit,debit and prepaid cards.
Risk Management
Risk Management is a prime business driver for any customer, be they merchants, banks or the customers shopping on the websites. The Payment Gateway solution has been developed so as to create an inbuilt and integrated primary risk mitigation capability which can be independent of any peripheral risk management system as well as complement any such system that may be contemplated by the bank.
The inbuilt risk manager is based on real time velocity parameters that are configurable at a Merchant, Card, Institution and Transaction level. The risk mitigation logic works on the premise that the transaction is processed by the application only if none of the assigned risk parameters have been exceeded. Thus, this functionality takes care of primary risk concerns and can be simply managed by the Bank's Risk Management team by using the UI on the application.
Banks and merchants may decide to enhance their risk mitigation by using an additional risk engine so as to track and trend transactions and monitor false positives as well so as to track potential business gains and loss.
Easy Configuration
Keeping in mind user profiles and the need for overall ease in configuration of Merchants, Users, Risk and Brand profiles, the solution offers exemplary freedom and flexibility to the respective entities benefitting utilizing the platform.
Offline Transaction
While traditional merchant operations and business models mandate the need for OLTP capabilities, the need to factor in the operational model wherein, monthly payment recovery models such as time share, EMIs, subscriptions that are commonly included in the MOTO merchant profile are supported using the unique Batch Management utility.
The feature offers unique capabilities, of Batch management in its varied processing options empowers the respective users with compelling options.
User Management
User Administration with Maker, Checker, Authorizer and extensive audit trail
